Writing the Virus (publication in non-fiction anthology) - essay, “We Are Dreaming of the Future Season,” included in an anthology of early writing about the Covid-19 pandemic. Print edition published by Outpost 19 Books, November 2020. (Also published in the online literary journal, Statorec.)

Marking a Moment (text for artist’s book) - essay commissioned by visual artist Joan Giroux for a small-edition artist’s book, published to coincide with a retrospective exhibition in Chicago, 2017. The text was also published in Statorec.

“Will It Ever End?” - essay on the state of LGBT rights in response to the Supreme Court’s overruling of Roe v. Wade, published in Statorec.

Jack

(musical: book, lyrics, and music)

Jack is a new musical based loosely on my high school diary.

The first draft of Jack was read by actors around a table at LaMama Galleria in New York on May 4th, 2022. A more fully-produced reading for an invited audience is planned, following revisions.

(music/performance duo: writer/performer)

1992-2002, wrote and performed shows incorporating songs and storytelling, in various scales and formats (from acoustic duo to 30-person revue) in large and small theaters in New York and across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, rock clubs, coffeehouses, churches, folk, bluegrass, and country venues, bookstores, grocery stores, and large festivals. Released several CDs, published a novel and various smaller books, and a blog.
